We wanted to switch things up and share some haircuts and trends for men. Generally men are a creature of habit with their styles. Maybe your beau still has the same style since high school, or tried something new….but, it isn’t age appropriate. Right now men’s hair is trending with the pompadour top and short sides. As we all know trends vary from season to season…actually day to day, if not minute by minute! Here are some hot, some funky, and some fun spring footwear trends from Milan’s Spring Fashion week. Tip 1: Can’t figure out where to start? Pick your shoes first! Find fun flirty shoes that make you feel great and work your way up from that. Nothing can be more inspiring than a cute pair of heels.
Tip 2: If you aren’t sure whether something you own is a dress or a top, it’s a top. It’s always a top. Imagine how much less ridiculous Lucy Hale would have looked if she’d tucked that shirt into some pants.
Tip 3: Dress up! It’s always fun to dress up and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t every once in awhile. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have anything to dress up for. Sometimes it’s good just to remind people you can. Plus, you know you have that dress in your closet you’ve been dying to wear.
Tip 4: Tailor your clothes. It doesn’t matter how many clothes you have if they don’t fit properly. If you’re on a budget, spend the money on making sure your clothes fit right instead of buying more clothes. Some simple alterations can make an outfit pop.
Tip 5: Think for yourself! It doesn’t matter what styles and colors are in this season, wear what you want. Everyone will tell you different things, but what it comes down to is that you should wear what makes you happy. If Katy Perry can do it, so can you. 
If your closet needs some inspiration this season, try channeling Andy Warhol. The Mod culture of the 1960′s is back with a vengeance. This is especially exciting news for us since we are located so close to Pittsburgh, Andy Warhol’s hometown. Black and white in bold checks and daring stripes have been seen all over the spring runways and we can’t contain our excitement!
Here are some key tips for when you’re out buying your new look. If your look includes showing off your midriff, make sure to balance it with long sleeves or hem length. Chunky jewelry complements this look very well so grab a few fun pieces on your way to the cashier. Lastly, don’t shy away from horizontal stripes. New research shows they can actually have a slimming effect. We know, it blew our minds too! Enjoy the new fashion throwbacks this season. With Mod as your muse, you can’t go wrong.
Every where we’re looking we’re seeing bling, nail art, neutral, nude, and splashes of bold colors, as well as matte finishes. OPI just came out with a new matte finish top coat to give a nice clean crisp look. We’ve been seeing it paired with a shiny coat as well (alternating nails, french style, nail art designs).
